New Features​

SaaS​

We have made it easier for you to get started with our services by offering a hassle-free deployment of your Acentrik instances. You now have the flexibility to deploy instances either with a Metamask wallet or a Web2-like Group Wallet.

Instance Management Portal​

This is a new interface designed specifically for Instance Administrators. It provides a centralized location for managing Acentrik instances and includes the following features:

  • Version Management: Instance Administrators now have the capability to upgrade their instance version, ensuring that you are always up-to-date with the latest features and improvements.
  • User Management: This feature allows Instance Administrators to invite and manage other administrators, enhancing collaboration and control within the platform.
  • Theming: Customize data exchange platform aesthetics.
  • Group Management: This feature allows Instance Administrators to invite and manage groups within their instances.
  • Blocking Group Users: Administrators now have the ability to block errant organization users.
  • Edge Node Management: This feature allows administrators to connect and manage both instance and group edge nodes.
  • Listing Management: Administrators now have the authority to suspend errant asset listings, helping to maintain the integrity of the platform.

Data Exchange Platform​

This is the main interface that can operate as a data marketplace or a data exchange. It’s designed to facilitate efficient data transactions and includes the following features:

  • Groups: We now support self-managed groups within the Exchange/Marketplace. This allows for better organization and collaboration.
  • Self-service group signup: Groups can now sign up independently, starting the onboarding process without waiting for an invitation from the Instance Admin.
  • User management: Group administrators can now invite and manage users within the same group.
  • Edge node management: Group administrators can now add and manage the group’s own edge nodes, providing better control.
  • Single sign on (SSO): We’ve added ODIC support for groups that prefer to use SSO instead of email and password, providing a more convenient and secure login process.
  • Simplified user experience: We’re delivering a Web2-like experience for Web3 applications. This simplifies data exchange by abstracting complex Web3 operations. Users can now enjoy the power of Web3 without the typical barriers of dealing with wallets and tokens directly.
  • Group wallets for gas-sponsored instances: We’ve replaced individual wallets with a shared Group Wallet. Asset creation, ownership, management, and access are now handled on the group level instead of the individual level, eliminating the need for installing web3 wallets.
  • Federated compute: This feature enables computation on data across silos without compromising privacy. It facilitates the development of AI models by allowing groups to perform secure, privacy-preserving computations and gain deeper insights from distributed datasets.
  • Flexible post-payment billing: We’ve adapted to organizational needs by offering a post-payment system that supports multiple currencies. This enterprise-compliant mechanism enables groups to monetize data based on actual usage.
    • Pay-per-order: Record orders for settlement at a later time.
    • Pay-per-download: Record the amount required for each download for settlement at a later time.
  • Data asset source file path connecter: We’ve added a new connecter which allows free and premium assets to use file paths as a source instead of just a URL for supported edge nodes. This feature requires additional setup to be completed on the edge node.

Improvements​

  • Docker Support: We now support multiple docker container registries, providing more flexibility and options for your deployments.
  • Performance: We’ve improved load times for the catalog and data asset pages, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • User experience: We’ve made enhancements to the data exchange platform user experience, making it more intuitive and user-friendly.
